One of the projects the Anti-Human Trafficking Ministry engages in is a monthly street outreach called Project Red Cord night out. Team members setup tables along the sidewalk in an area of Cleveland to offer various support, personal hygiene and food to people being trafficked, homeless or impoverished. They work with the Renee Jones Empowerment Center, a non-profit group that helps women who are ready to leave the trafficking lifestyle.
Here are ways that you can be of support: ~ Donate individually bagged items like cookies, chips, sweet or salty snacks, candy, bottled water, brown bags, baggies
~ Write simple ‘thinking of you’ notes that will be included in the bagged lunches
~ Pray for the success of the outreach efforts
The next Project Red Cord event is
August 7. Donated items – food or notes – should be dropped-off in the Kitchenette off the Gathering Area at Holy Angels
Friday, August 6 before 1:00 pm. For more information contact Donna Angelotti at
