How many nights a week do our families share a meal? sports, work, clubs, social activity… then, Faith Formation for our children. For some families taking up three separate nights a week. Our families are being pulled in many different directions. 
 
At Holy Angels we have listened to you, our parents.  As mothers and fathers ourselves, we get it. We are right there with you.  So rather than contribute to the problem, we have created a new Religious Education Program at Holy Angels, called Family First PSR (Parish School of Religion). 

The primary goal of this program is to bring the family unit together.  How are we doing that? By offering exactly what you asked for.  In our parent and catechist meetings over the summer, mothers and fathers asked for field trips (Outings); opportunities of service for the whole family; and events for the whole family hosted here at our parish.  These will be the core pillars of our program.
It is our aim to create engaging experiences for our families, encounters with Christ that speak to our hearts and inspire us; moments to laugh and spend more time with our kids, our spouses, our friends.

       Family First Classroom begins on September 16/17.  
 The registration deadline is Sept 5, 2024

MANDATORY PARENT MEETING WITH FATHER MAX ON SEPT.11 at 6pm  

Below are the options for Classroom Psr this year 
Monday & Tuesday Classes 4:45p-6:00p

New this year starting for 1st grade
you have the option of Monday PSR plus!
Psr Plus is Classroom PSR plus Children's Choir. You will attend PSR class from 4:45p-6P and then from
6-6:30p attend Childrens choir! 

Registration Fees include: Supplies and materials for the classroom,  Costs for Family First Days and Outings throughout the year. The Family First days and outings will be planned on a month by month basis. 
Family First Classroom families are required to attend 4 Family First days or outing throughout the year. 

Those registering after Sept. 6, 2022 will pay a $10 late fee per child. 

Family First Home school is another option for families. Alive in Christ Textbooks will be provided along with a folder that includes: tests, and a suggested syllabus for keeping on track throughout the year. Tests for the year need to be turned in by May 15, 2024 to receive credit for the year. Registration Fees include costs associated with Family Days and Outings throughout the year. Family First Homeschool 

Those registering after Sept. 6, 2023 will be charged a $10 late fee per child.
