Music Ministry Updates & Opportunities
Whether you are a new parishioner or a longtime member of the Holy Angels Music Ministry, I hope you will open your heart to the ways in which the Holy Spirit is prompting you to grow, to change, and to serve the Lord. Weekly Rehearsal Schedule
- Children’s Choir – Every Wednesday from 5:30-6:00 pm
- Youth Choir – Every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 pm
- Holy Angels Adult Choir – Our adult choir and cantors will rehearse together every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 pm
Weekly Mass Schedule- The Adult Choir sings at the 5:00 & 9:00 (choir members choose one or both)
- The Youth Choir ("Sanctify") sings at the 11:00 Mass
- The Children's Choir sings at special events throughout the year.

Funeral Ministry
We will be supporting the music at Funeral Masses throughout the year. This ministry is open to all singers who are available during the week. Information will be communicated via flocknote prior to each scheduled funeral. We will meet 15 minutes prior to each funeral to figure out seating and go over a few musical details. Everyone is welcome! Please reach out to Aimee Wasinski, aimee@holyangelschurch.com with any questions and thank you in advance for your dedication to this very important ministry.
Attire for Funeral Masses:- Women – all black dress clothes (black shirt, black dress pants, black skirt, or black dress) with optional white choir scarves
- Men – Black dress pants, white dress shirt and tie.
Holy Angels Cantor Program
The primary role of a cantor is to serve as psalmist – leading and proclaiming the verses of the Responsorial Psalm, Gospel Acclamation, and Hymns, and making the assembly's prayer possible through song. The monthly cantor schedule is planned in advance and will be communicated via flocknote. If you are interested in joining the cantor program, please reach out to me for additional information.
We are seeking individuals with the following competencies:- Takes a faith centered approach to musical work
- Listens well to others and is eager for new opportunities to grow and learn
- Thrives in a highly collaborative environment
- Comfortable singing in front of people
- Demonstrates musical understanding including a strong solo singing voice, music reading skills and listening skills
- Committed to at-home practice, available for evening rehearsals, and for weekend Liturgies (5:00 pm, 9:00 am, 11:00 am).
