“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace…” ~1 Peter 4:10
Jesus said to the first disciples, “Come and follow me.” Discipleship means to follow Christ, to listen to Christ, to seek Christ, to love Christ. It is the call to follow Jesus and respond by shaping our lives in the imitation of Christ everyday.
Stewardship is the recognition of the gifts god has entrusted us with and to gratefully accept the gifts we’ve been given, care for and grow in those gifts, and then use our gifts by the offering our time, talent & treasure – not just for our own purposes, but for the greater good of our community, the world, and of the Church.
TIME: Taking time regularly to learn more about my faith and seeking out opportunities to deepen my relationship with God through prayer. Spend TIME with God.
Call to action suggestions:
I will spend time daily in personal prayer I will attend reconciliation this month
I will attend a weekday Mass I will pray before meals
I will read the Sunday Scriptures each week
Throughout the year we need hundreds of volunteers to help keep the parish active, vibrant, and inviting. In addition to some of our parish groups that do volunteer work and our many liturgical ministers that help us provide beautiful liturgies. There are times when we need help with things as simple as cleaning up between Christmas masses and getting donations to charitable organizations.
If you want to donate some of your time, contact our Stewardship and Ministry coordinator, Jennifer Hudson.
TALENT: How I offer my gifts, skills and talents generously to build up God’s kingdom. Not only within my parish, but in my local community, at school, or at work. Using my TALENTS for God.
Call to action Suggestions:
I will join a new ministry at my parish I will volunteer for a parish event

I will share my faith daily as a living example
There are hundreds of ways that you can share your talents with the parish community by connecting with our different parish groups and activities. It begins, though, with a discernment of your talents – with understanding the gifts that God has given you!
If you want to share your skills and talents, contact our Stewardship and Ministry coordinator, Jennifer Hudson.
TREASURE: What I am able to offer back to the Lord for the blessings received from God, is my gift of treasure to my church. Using my TREASURE for God.

I will give to the Holy Angels St. Michael Fund
A great way to support the parish is also the simplest: by offering us the monetary support we need to maintain our staff, programs, and buildings. As an alternative to your weekly envelopes, we are pleased to offer the option of electronic giving through WeShare. Also, please know that many large employers in our area will match employee contributions to charities, including churches, so consider reviewing what employee benefits you might have available.
If you want to donate your treasure in any way to the benefit of our parish, contact our Business Manager, Don Maar.
